Roots Southern Table's notable chef, Tiffany Derry, serves warm, crumbly cornbread, creamed-corn ravioli, her mother's gumbo, and crispy fried chicken, which was all inspired by her Southern roots and gastronomy learning in Europe. Derry hopes her gumbo serves more of a sense of security and "emotional connection" rather than just the food itself.
